Joan Farrar Signed 1965 “Rocks” Abstract Monoprint

A 1965 monoprint, titled Rocks, by the American artist Joan Farrar. This print features abstract strokes of black against a white background. Held in a black and gold-tone wooden frame against a black mat, this piece is signed, titled, and dated to the lower edge.

Joan Farrar is an American painter and printmaker. Farrar worked for Tanglewood Press as a printmaker, working in conjunction with the Leo Castelli Gallery and printing pieces by Jasper Johns, Tom Wesselmann, and Angelo Savelli. Farrar's prints are in numerous museums including the Art Institute of Chicago.
